Friday: Candlelit Vigil and U.K. Memorial AIDS Quilt

Join us for our Candlelit Vigil and see the U.K. Memorial AIDS Quilt

We have opened up the final hour of our two-day #SaferToBeMe conference to the public who have not bought a ticket for the conference.

This is your opportunity to see 6 of the 12x12ft squares of the U.K. Memorial AIDS Quilt and to take part in a candlelit vigil to remember the lives of those we have lost, and continue to lose, due to decisions made by world leaders to scale back funding for LGBTQ+ causes.

The U.K. AIDS Quilt is part of the largest community arts project in history, the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt helps us remember and celebrate all lives lost to HIV from the beginning of the pandemic in the 1980s to the present day.

Please arrive at the building reception at 3:45 on the day and you will be let into the Main Hall at 4pm.
